WORKSHOP ON SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH AND GRANT WINNING APPROACHES
The newly appointed Vice Chancellor of the University of Agriculture and Environmental Sciences, UAES, Umuagwo Imo State, Prof. Chiedozie C. Eze recently organized a workshop on Scientific Research and Grant Winning Approaches at the Enterprenurship Centre of the institution.
The workshop had Prof Emeka Oguzie, the Deputy Vice Chancellor on Research, Innovation and Development, of the Federal University of Technology Owerri, FUTO; a high flying scholar cited by Stanford University, USA as one of the 2% of the best and most cited scientists in the world as guest speaker.
The Ag. VC, Prof. Eze in his remarks said he wants to prepare teaching staff of the University to be properly positioned to benefit from grants from national and international bodies hence the workshop and ensure that they are intune with current realities in their respective field.
Other principal officers present at the workshop included Prince Edward Njemanze, fcai, Registrar, Dr. Chidi Nwosu, University Librarian, Deans and academic staff of UAES.
