Faculty Desscription

The faculty of Arts,Social and Management Sciences is comprised of 9 departments, Each department is handled by professionals with years of experience. The University of Agriculture and Environmental Sciences, Umuagwo currrently offers B.Sc in all Arts,Social and Management Science courses, which is a 4 year study programe with hands on experience.

Direct Entry

B.Sc  Criminology & Security Studies 

Five Credit level passes at SSCE (or its equivalent) including English Language, Mathematics, either Economics, Geography or Science and other two subjects, in not more than two sittings.

 

ND/ HND with minimum of Lower Credit level pass in relevant field, or Candidates shall possess five credit passes in the SSCE (or equivalents) of which two shall be at advanced level (or JUPEB), or four credits passes of which at least three shall be at advanced level (or JUPEB) provided that such passes are not counted at both levels of the examinations. For emphasis, credit in English Language, Mathematics and any of Economics, Geography or Government is compulsory.

UTME subjects are: English language, History/ Government and any other two subjects from Arts and Social Sciences.

B.Sc. Peace Studies & Conflict Resolution.

 

Five Credit level passes at SSCE (or its equivalent) including English Language, Mathematics and Government in not more than two sittings.

B.Sc. Psychology

Five Credit level passes at SSCE (or its equivalent) including English Language, Mathematics and Economics in not more than two sittings.

ND/ HND with minimum of Lower Credit level pass in relevant field, or Candidates shall possess five credit passes in the SSCE (or equivalents) of which two shall be at advanced level (or JUPEB), provided that such passes are not counted at both levels of the examinations. For emphasis, credit in English Language, Mathematics and Economics are required..

UTME subjects are: English language, Economics and any other two subjects from Arts and Social Sciences.

B.Sc. (i) Accounting,  (ii) Taxation,        (iii) Business Administration,     (iv) Cooperative and Rural Development, (v) Marketing,      (vi) Entrepreneurship 

Five Credit level passes at SSCE (or its equivalent) including English Language, Mathematics and Economics in not more than two sittings

ND/HND with minimum of Lower Credit level pass in relevant discipline or Final Certificate of relevant Professional Bodies or Candidates shall possess five credit passes in the SSCE (or equivalents) of which two shall be at advanced level (or JUPEB), or four credits passes of which at least three shall be at advanced level (or JUPEB) provided that such passes are not counted at both levels of the examinations. Credit passes at Ordinary level must include English Language and Mathematics.

UTME subjects are: English language, Mathematics Economics and any Social Science subject.
