Professor Nelson Alino – Pro-Chancellor, UAES
 
Professor Nelson Alino is a distinguished scholar, seasoned administrator, and visionary leader whose commitment to educational excellence and institutional development spans several decades. He currently serves as the Pro-Chancellor and Chairman of the Governing Council of the University of Agriculture and Environmental Sciences (UAES), Umuagwo, Imo State, Nigeria.
 
Prof. Alino is a Professor of Accounting and Taxation and has contributed immensely to academia through research, mentorship, and policy development. His professional career reflects a blend of academic brilliance and administrative expertise, having served in various leadership capacities within the university system and beyond.
 
As Pro-Chancellor, Prof. Alino provides strategic direction, fosters good governance, and promotes partnerships aimed at advancing the University’s mission of agricultural innovation, environmental sustainability, and human capital development.
